The FuelCard Company signs deal with Tesco to extend filling network

Fleet drivers will be able to use their Keyfuels cards at any of the supermarket giant’s 475 forecourts at no extra charge, extending the network of available sites to 1925.

The partnership secures Keyfuels’ place as one of the most prominent multi-branded fixed price network in the UK, with drivers able to access diesel at a single fixed price regardless of the advertised retail pump price.

Other sites in the network include all Morissons Supermarket sites, all Somerfield sites, as well as the extensive motorway service station network, Moto.

Lee Atkinson, Partnership manager at The Fuelcard Company, said: 'This new partnership with Tesco will give fleet drivers with Keyfuels cards access to an extended network of sites, at convenient locations around the UK. Whether they are travelling on motorways or through towns and cities, our customers can have peace of mind knowing that there is a filling site within reach.'

Commercial drivers will also be able to collect club card points on their fuel purchases – one point for every £2 spent on diesel.

'With the price of fuel reaching record highs, we are trying to give our customers as much help as we can. By guaranteeing a weekly fixed price across the whole Keyfuels network, our customers won’t have any nasty surprises when it comes to paying for their fuel at the pump. Businesses receive a weekly price notification via email or text confirming their fuel price for the following week so they’re able to plan ahead,' Atkinson continued.

'Online reporting and account management also helps fleet managers keep track of their fuel spend, allowing for increased control over fuel usage which can lead to substantial long term savings. Businesses are able to monitor the fuel usage of individual drivers as well as the entire fleet, providing managers with a wealth of information which can help to identify areas where savings can be made, such as routing, or training drivers to adopt a more fuel efficient driving style.'
