Sixt launches global iPad application for rental customers
The new Sixt application, which joins the existing application for smartphones, leads the user through the various stages of the rental process – selecting country, station and desired vehicle, while also using filter options such as fixed maximum price or seating capacity. Additional insurance and navigation systems may also be booked.
Customers can also manage reservations in the virtual "MySixt"customer centre.
The application is connected by GPS to search for Sixt stations, petrol stations and hotels, and provides a convenient map overview mode. Users may also log in with their Sixt customer card, gaining access to the individually reserved rates. Business customers receive direct access to their own company rates.

The iPad application will initially be available in English, German and French, with other languages to follow.
