Fleet Operations has appointed operations director Richard Hipkiss as its new managing director.

His appointment comes as the independent fleet management consultancy makes a number of senior management changes, including the appointment of Brian Hardwick as head of operations, as it puts a structure in place to build on 20% revenue growth achieved over the past year.

Hipkiss has worked at Fleet Operations for 14 years, having started as a client services executive in 2002. He progressed to become operations manager before being appointed to the board as operations director in August 2013, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth over the past five years and recently led the development of the ‘Move’ online vehicle ordering platform.

Fleet Operations is planning further major product launches in 2017, as well as implementing improvements to its existing service proposition to help clients achieve even greater cost savings and efficiency gains.
