The 1.5-litre diesel-engined supermini has been engineered for lower emissions and greater fuel economy, thanks to a raft of enhancements.

Versions with 94g/km feature an "Eco Pack", which can be specified as a £250 option on Expression trim level versions of Clio 3- and 5-door, bringing the prices to £12,450 and £13,050 on-the-road. This makes the Clio Express Eco the cheapest sub-100g/km supermini in the UK, according to Renault.

As well as offering reduced fuel costs, the model also benefits from zero Vehicle Excise Duty, London Congestion Charge exemption, 100% Capital Write Down Allowance and a benefit-in-kind rating of 13%.
