Pendragon Contracts and Shell to launch fuel management programme

By / 12 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The financial savings are driven by the use of Shell's 'Fuelsave' products and the additional benefit of paying a price linked to average market prices, which can be cheaper than daily pump prices.  This means that drivers can avoid unnecessary extra cost at more expensive locations such as motorway service stations.

Efficient forecourt layouts mean that refuelling at Shell service stations is quick and safe, as there is little or no queuing, saving time and contributing to increased convenience and a better customer experience. The Shell Motorist's App, downloadable on iPhone and Android, gives users access to a range of Shell information to help them plan routes and find Shell stations. Users can also check their loyalty points and Shell offers, set vehicle reminders and keep up to date with Shell news and product information on their mobiles.

Easy access online card management 24/7 provides fleet managers with customised and downloadable management reports ensuring transparency and enabling them to exert total control over the programme. Exception reports and alerts to misuse or fraudulent activity, for example if there's no odometer reading or non-fuel purchases are made etc, are also available.  In addition, the system provides secure online invoicing and the opportunity to set different parameters for each fuel card.

Neal Francis (Inset), managing director of Pendragon Contracts, said: 'The Shell fuel card scheme has been designed to make the fleet manager's experience as simple as possible enabling them to order cards, organise user groups and cancel cards in just a few seconds.  The overriding benefits of Pendragon Contracts' fuel management programme are the control, convenience, security and considerable savings to be made by switching the whole fleet to the Shell card. It's excellent news for fleets.'
