Rolec’s EV Charge Online offers no annual membership fees.

Rolec’s EV Charge Online is geared at avoiding complicated membership schemes and pricing for charging EVs – seen by many as a barrier to widespread adoption. The system offers no annual membership fees, no monthly subscription, no driver connection charges, no host licence fees and no charging connection fees.

Among its existing clients are Next, Aldi, Taylor Wimpey, Symantec and the NHS – all of whom have in-situ EV charging points. Rolec has confirmed that more charging points are now in production with the aim of expanding the network further across the UK.

Rolec’s EV Charge Online network is proving popular in the public facing arena due to its ethos of ensuring the EV driver only pays for the charge advertised on the charging point, without having to pay any other costly fees.

Rolec’s EV corporate account manager, Naomi Nye, said: “We already work closely with a number of fleet companies around the UK, having secured partnerships with NHS Fleet Solutions, the Toomey Leasing Group and Fulton Vehicle Leasing among many others, in addition to providing EV charging solutions which address the EV fleet requirements of a range of large corporate companies and some of the High Street’s biggest brand names.

“We are looking forward to talking to many other fleet companies at the upcoming Fleet Show and anticipate a number of fantastic new working relationships as a result of the event.

“Fleets are an extremely important element in the uptake of electric vehicles nationwide. As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of EV charging points, we recognise how the ownership of an EV can lead to multiple charging points being requested at home and in the workplace – as well as an increase in demand for further public facing EV charging points to be added to the UK’s current infrastructure.”Meet the industry’s biggest suppliers, experience the latest cars and vans, network and attend a packed seminar session at the Fleet Show, held at Silverstone.
