Parking ticket appeal system updated for remote photo upload
The new module allows a driver to take photos of nearby signs, lines and other relevant road markings when they get a ticket. Along with a written statement they can upload this information as an MMS message directly to the Fleetpcnmanager system.
Kevin Morrison, Fleetpcnmanager’s managing director, said: 'A picture is worth a thousand words when challenging a parking ticket and now fleet operators have a tool that allows their drivers send pictures remotely, thereby greatly enhancing the chance of a successful appeal. Once a driver has driven away, the odds of remembering the road signs and markings severely diminish so this service ensures they can record all the facts at the scene.'
There is no additional cost to use the upload facility apart from the standard network operator charges for sending an MMS message.
