PARIS PREVIEW: upgraded Mazda2 to make its premiere

These include the Mazda2 supermini, which has received an upgrade and will be given its European premiere in Paris.

The latest Mazda2 has been updated with new front styling, an upgraded interior, a revised Euro V compliant powertrain line-up, an improved chassis for even better ride comfort and the introduction of an automatic transmission version.

Joining the upgraded Mazda2 will be the Mazda5 with the new, more economical MZ-CD 1.6 diesel engine. This engine offers a 15% CO2 emissions reduction compared to the previous 2.0-litre diesel whilst also delivering 5.2L/100km and 115PS.

The new Mazda3 with an upgraded MZ-CD 1.6 diesel engine will also be introduced. The new version, which features a lightweight six-speed manual transmission, offers 6PS more maximum power and 12% higher maximum torque along with 4.4L/100km and 117g/km CO2.
