Northgate Vehicle Hire drives sweet success for expanding confectionary business

By / 12 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

Hitting the road from early September, the eight strong fleet of vehicles were supplied by Northgate Vehicle Hire on a flexible contract, which includes cost effective features such as vehicle maintenance, back up service throughout the UK and, in Tubs Sweets’ case, branded vehicle wrapping and text. The flexible contract has helped the confectionary company in its growth by reducing fixed costs, freeing company funds to drive into an expansion program.

Brian Gilna, Sales manager at Northgate Vehicle Hire, commented: 'Our partnership with Tubs Sweets has been a great success. 12 months ago the company was a new start up, so our flexible vehicle hire proved to be a sweet deal for the company. So much so, that one year on we have increased the number of sprinters hired by the company to eight.  And to sugar coat the deal we included full vehicle wrapping and text branding under one rental cost.

'At Northgate we work hard to ensure our contracts are as flexible as possible, which enables businesses of all sizes to access, utilise and benefit from our services,' he added.

Kevin Ginty, managing director at Tubs Sweets, commented: 'Over the past 12 months our company has grown from strength to strength and so working with a flexible vehicle rental company has been essential. The Northgate team has been incredibly supportive and productive from day one. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their flexible and cost effective services to any business affiliate.'

In a bid to react to the company’s rapid expansion, Northgate also supplied the fully branded vehicles within just three weeks of ordering. Northgate has worked closely with Tubs Sweets, which is based in Co Wicklow in Ireland over the past 12 months to support the company’s expansion plans and the confectionary company is now looking to invest in a further three vehicles in the coming months.
