Following a £300,000 investment, the Glasgow site now offers a dedicated reception area, two plasma TVs with information points, a refreshment and working area with wi-fi access, a new open plan back office and a canteen for colleagues. There's also a new dedicated customer parking area and entrance and a fully landscaped exterior. 

The Glasgow workshop has also seen significant development to enhance operational efficiency and workflow, as well as the installation of updated equipment.

Simon Ridley, Northgate’s Operations Director North, commented: 'The suitability of our existing sites has been an area we’ve wanted to review for a long time. The fleet has grown substantially over the last 15 years and it was time our facilities reflected the standard of service offered. We have spent around £300,000 reconfiguring the Glasgow site to make it more efficient. Alongside providing our colleagues with a working environment that allows them to carry out their jobs effectively, process efficiencies will improve significantly to ensure that our customers have an unrivalled experience with every visit.'
