Tusker continues to expand with two senior promotions
Alison Argall has been promoted from Business Development manager to the new post of Business Development director, whilst at the same time, head of Account Management, Veronica Steele, has been promoted to the position of Account Development director.
'Both appointments have been made in recognition of the significant contribution they have made to the development of the business and our confidence in their abilities to steer Tusker to the next phase of our planned growth and expansion,' said Tusker's managing director, David Hosking.
Argall joined Tusker eight years ago from Alcester, an importer of glassware and china in the hospitality industry, where she was national sales manager.@PREVIEWEND@ In her new role, she will be responsible for growing the business development team, including mentoring, training and developing the existing business development managers, recruiting others, as well as developing her own sales function, and will join the senior management team at Tusker.
'Tusker has enjoyed dynamic growth in recent years, partially fuelled by the success of our salary sacrifice car solution, SS4C, and partially by our ability to provide the very highest standards of customer service in the contract hire market,' she said.
'In what are still economically very challenging times for many companies, we believe we have the ideal portfolio of cost and tax-effective products that will meet theirs and their employees’ mobility requirements,' she added.
Veronica Steele, meanwhile, has taken on the role of Account Development director, overseeing a team of account development and implementation managers and working closely with Tusker clients across all products within the portfolio.
Steele, who also joined Tusker eight years previously, said: 'We have a fantastic team of people here at Tusker who are really knowledgeable in the key areas of strategically managing the clients’ needs, such as legislation, taxation, salary sacrifice and duty of care and are extremely proficient in all areas of fleet operation.
'My new role is to develop the team even further to ensure we continue to deliver the gold standard, first rate customer service we have always built Tusker on. We place great emphasis on customer service and client relationships here at Tusker and will continue to do so to ensure our future success.
'We are going through very exciting times with the growth we are seeing in the business and are relishing the challenges and changes that brings. It is extremely important that we stay on our game to ensure our customers’ needs are always fully met,' she added.
