Road Angel partners TomTom to sell fleet management software
The move will expand Road Angel’s commercial product range, enabling it to offer customers state-of-the-art systems to meet a broader range of fleet management requirements.
'The success of TomTom’s award-winning technology for optimising the safety, performance and efficiency of fleet operations, both large and small, is proven and recognised globally,' said Jez Strong, Sales director at Road Angel.
'This partnership gives Road Angel access to a global platform and complements the existing fleet product range with innovative, market-leading solutions from TomTom – including its extensive fleet reporting, as well as driver behaviour and fuel monitoring tools, all combined with market-leading satellite navigation,' he added.
The announcement follows on from Road Angel’s existing partnership with TomTom’s consumer division to provide the sat nav giant with safety camera and blackspot information.
'We welcome Road Angel as an official partner that can offer the service, advice and expertise both ourselves to TomTom business customers expect,' said Giles Margerison, director UK & Ireland TomTom Business Solutions.
'This move reflects a growing trend towards consolidation in the fleet management market, allowing both TomTom Business Solutions and Road Angel to approach the future from a position of even greater strength.' he added.
