Andrew Yeoman, managing director of Trimble MRM in Europe, confirmed the announcement at the IAA Commercial Vehicles event in Hanover and said: 'Europe is a key growth area for Trimble as we look to expand our range of solutions in the region.

'Trimble Transport and Logistics' focus on transportation management expands Trimble MRM's portfolio of products and we are excited about collectively taking these unique solutions to the wider market.'

The newly branded company, which has built an extensive customer base across continental Europe, will continue to develop and invest in CarCube and complementary back-office solutions and will be launching innovative new features at the IAA.
