Set to go live from 8 December, the new functionality will allow invited motor trade professionals to buy quality stock daily in an eBay style timed auction format.  

Explaining the reason for the launch of the new facility, the company said: 'The logic is to support vendors by removing 'dead time' in the disposals process; meaning cars can be selling whilst still in transit.'

The company says that approximately 30-40 vehicles will be added to the system daily on top of the 150 that will be uploaded on launch day.  

'We are always striving to stay one step ahead of the competition,' said Jacqui Le Put, sales and marketing director at Wilsons Auctions. 'The online timed auction facility will help us maintain this advantage.'
