New Kia Picanto to bring bolder styling and increased space

Kia has published the first images of the third-generation Picanto, which will bring more dynamic styling and extra cabin and cargo space.

The new Kia Picanto gets an extended wheelbase and GT Line trim.

Making its full debut at the Geneva motor show in March, the latest iteration of the city car is revealed in the sporty ‘GT-Line’ specification to showcase its evolutionary design, which makes use of a 15mm longer wheelbase, with the wheels pushed out to the corners, and bolder lines.

The cabin is also updated and is said to be bring a suite of high-tech comfort, convenience and safety features, focused around a new ‘floating’ touchscreen infotainment system. Despite retaining its 3,595mm length, the Picanto also bring more cabin and cargo space thanks to enhanced packaging efficiency.

The new Picanto will go on sale in the spring following its debut at Geneva.
