The nine-strong team, headed by Oliver Lajara, deputy general manager for Fleet and Remarketing, now includes Sam Soo Kim, coordinator of the Fleet Department; Tomasz Balcerzak, fleet sales manager for Eastern Europe; Markus James, fleet sales manager for Central Europe; Jorge Llorente, fleet sales manager for Southern Europe; Sinisa Andjelic, fleet sales manager for Northern Europe. Mark Sebastian, fleet business analyst; Nina Haehnle, fleet marketing & events specialist, and Patrick Reimers, remarketing manager, complete the team.

The team will introduce new marketing and training initiatives and support local Fleet Business Centres, which are located at selected dealerships across Europe, with services dedicated specifically to corporate customers. These include extended opening hours, priority service appointments, specialised invoicing and a dedicated fleet manager.

Along with initiatives such as the Five Year Triple Care warranty and the launch of new models, the latest moves are intended to help increase Hyundai’s fleet sales mix from 35% to 45%.

Allan Rushforth, senior vice president and COO at Hyundai Motor Europe, commented: ‘In 2011 we’re expecting to increase our presence in Europe’s fleet sector, and the completion of this new, dedicated team is a major step towards delivering success.

‘We’ve established a number of new and exciting initiatives in the past 18 months, including the ultimate customer assurance package Five Year Triple Care. And we’ve unveiled the D-segment i40, a car that promises to attract new corporate buyers with its class-leading quality, efficiency, comfort and high-tech features.

‘Our local fleet representatives now have the tools with which to build their fleet business, backed up by great support from the fleet team in Germany,’ Mr Rushforth concluded.
