Tero Tapala assumes the role after having held the position of Regional General Manager for a group of six countries (Brazil, India, Turkey, Greece, Morocco and Portugal) for over three years.

Mr Tapala has extensive know-how in operational leasing combined with a broad international experience. He started his career with the company as PHH Deutschland in Germany in 1989 and held the position of general manager of Arval Germany and Arval Austria from 1996 to 2007.

Commenting on his new role Mr Tapala said: ‘In today's international marketplace, many companies are faced with the challenges of operating fleets in an unstable and unpredictable economic environment. Arval offers the consulting and technical expertise our clients need to select and operate a cohesive national and international fleet. I am looking forward to grow our market share in the various countries and follow our customers in countries where we are not yet present.'
