Mini Coyote V2 advanced speed camera alert device launched in the UK
The Mini Coyote V2 is already used by 600,000 drivers across Europe and uses a constantly updated database of Europe’s 26,000 fixed and mobile camera locations.
This database is supplemented by a live community of users, who can alert other Coyote subscribers to new fixed and mobile camera locations in close proximity at the touch of a button.
The device informs them about their actual speed and the speed limit for the road they are driving on. It works by displaying a driver’s actual average speed through SPECS-monitored average speed camera zones, such as those typically found in motorway roadworks, and it also alerts to school and high-risk zones, plus Congestion Charge entry locations.
The Mini Coyote V2 is designed to be used by all company vehicle drivers – car, van or truck. It also works in 28 countries and in 9 different languages. The device is being distributed in the UK by Cobra UK Limited, part of the Cobra Group, which is also planning to launch a downloadable app, iCoyote, for iPhone users.
