The firm has taken delivery of its first batch of an order for 70 new Volkswagen Transporters, all in a unique bright red colour, which were ordered as part of Miele's ongoing vehicle replacement programme to update its fleet of 110 vans.

'We required a fleet that was reliable and one that could meet the growing needs of our customers,' said Tony Stephens, Miele fleet operations manager.

'The Volkswagen van range has always been popular with our technicians, so we were very pleased to progress to the new and more refined Transporter. In addition to the quality and service we are delighted with the consistently strong resale values of the vehicles,' he continued.
