The model will be based on the MINAGI concept car shown at the Geneva Motor show in March and will also feature the brand's "KODO – Soul of Motion" design theme that was premiered on the Mazda SHINARI concept car last year.

It will also incorporate the full range of Mazda's SKYACTIV technologies, including the brand's new-generation engines, transmissions, bodyshell design and chassis engineering.

The model will make its international debut in production form at this year's Frankfurt International Motor Show before going on sale in 2012.
