Manheim Auctions, Gloucester and Haydock battle for top online sales honours

By / 13 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

A couple of months ago the commercial vehicle team at Haydock achieved online sales of more than 1,000 vehicles via Simulcast while the team at Gloucester has just reached the 1,500 mark. However, Haydock has also just passed the 1,500 mark.

With just two more sales at Gloucester and one at Haydock the outcome won't be known until just before Christmas.

James Davis, general manager, commercial vehicles, Manheim Remarketing, said: 'For two of our leading commercial vehicle auction centres to be competing head-to-head for top online sales in 2010 is great to see. Simulcast just continues to grow and grow and is an integral part of the remarketing "landscape". It is now recognised throughout the industry as a well-established, trusted and reliable business tool that complements physical auction by bringing benefits to both buyers and sellers – buyers can select from a wide range of vehicles throughout the country from the warm comfort of their own offices, while sellers can offer their vehicles to a much wider audience.'

Manheim Auctions, Gloucester usually offers around 400 vans for auction every Thursday. Regular vendors include ALD Automotive, Arval, BT Fleet, FGA Contracts, GE Fleet, Hitachi Capital, Inchcape Fleet Solutions, LeasePlan, Lex Autolease, Masterlease, Northgate, Peugeot and Royal Mail.

Manheim Auctions, Haydock typically offers around 300 vans for auction every Tuesday. Vendors include Barclays Asset Finance, BT Fleet, GE Fleet, Hitachi Capital, Inchcape Fleet Solutions, Lombard, Northgate, Royal Mail and Toyota Financial Services.
