LeasePlan launches online DIY accident management for SMEs

By / 14 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The DIY service, which LeasePlan has branded Network Accident Management, enables an SME to track the entire repair process live online for an accident damaged car or light commercial vehicle on both LeasePlan funded and independently funded vehicles.

Once the SME has registered for the service and its vehicles have been uploaded onto the system, the driver formally reports the accident, and then all aspects of the repair are managed on their behalf.

A like-for-like replacement vehicle is automatically offered to non-fault drivers to keep them mobile and Total Accident Management provides a full range of other services intended to ensure the repair is carried out quickly, cost effectively and to the highest of standards. These include vehicle repair, credit repair, vehicle inspection, Uninsured Loss Recovery, Personal Injury and salvage if the car is written off.

If the SME is too busy to view the repair online, courtesy of Total Accident Management’s Repair Tracker service, the driver will receive text updates at each stage of the repair, which also notifies when the vehicle is ready for collection.

Graham Rixon, operations director at LeasePlan, said: 'The new service is unique as it has been built specifically for SMEs and it offers them a service normally only associated with larger fleets. We are very excited about its benefit to both franchisees and their customers.'
