Leaseplan and Swedbank renew Baltic Alliance Agreement

By / 12 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

In November 2004, LeasePlan Corporation N.V. signed an Alliance Agreement with what was formerly known as Baltic Car Lease (now Swedbank), a full service vehicle leasing company from the Baltic States.

Under this agreement, LeasePlan clients requiring vehicle management solutions in the Baltic States were referred to BCL/Swedbank. Clients of BCL/Swedbank requiring vehicle management solutions outside the Baltic States in countries where LeasePlan is present were referred to LeasePlan.

Both LeasePlan and Swedbank wish to renew the agreement in order to continue mutually referring their respective customers for the purposes of vehicle leasing and/or fleet management services in their respective business territories (with the exception of Sweden).

By entering into a new agreement, Swedbank will continue cooperation with internationally recognised LeasePlan with the aim to provide value for their clients.

In turn, LeasePlan will be able to continue to offer increased geographic coverage, a broader scope for its customers’ international fleet programmes, as well as the inclusion of the Baltic fleet information for those international clients utilising LeasePlan’s globally consolidated reporting products.
