'We have also been assisting Macmillan with whole life cost profiling and short-listed a selection of potential vehicle manufacturers,' he added.

David Sharp, head of procurement for Macmillan Cancer Support, commented: 'We conducted a very extensive tender exercise when reviewing our options for a new fleet management provider. Our decision to award our contract to Leasedrive was made on the basis of value for money, the extensive experience and expertise of the Leasedrive team and how the group proposed to manage our total vehicle requirements going forward. We were also very impressed with the comprehensive online totally-integrated fleet management system, Drive:Manager.

'Currently, we are evaluating a shortlist of suitable vehicles before finalising the company car choice for eligible drivers. As existing cars come up for replacement, eligible company car drivers will choose from a managed short-list of providers. Long-term rental vehicles will also be replaced by contract hire vehicles in the future,' he added.
