The fleet of cee'd EcoDynamics SWs will be used by the engineers as they carry out scale maintenance and repair at retail stores across the UK.

The cars are fitted with ISG (Intelligent Stop and Go) technology, which automatically shuts the engine down when the car is at a standstill and in neutral. This not only reduces fuel consumption, but also increases fuel economy as well as reducing emissions by 5%.

Debbie Weaver, fleet administrator at Avery Berkel, commented: 'Our aim was to select an estate car that could deliver a solution to satisfy a number of key requirements. Not least, it had to have the functionality, reliability and space for our engineers to perform their job and as they spend a lot of time in the car, it had to offer good specification as well as a rewarding drive. We were also looking to minimise our carbon footprint, fuel consumption levels and reduce costs for the business – a tough challenge!

'We were really impressed with the attributes of the Kia cee'd SW and it ticked all of the boxes. The real clincher was the peace of mind offered by Kia's seven-year warranty.'

The deal was secured in conjunction with Kia's Business Specialist Dealer, Brindley Kia of Wolverhampton.

Andy Dunsdon, regional business sales manager for Kia, said: 'We are delighted to have been selected as a supplier to such a well-established company. With the quality of the car, we were able to clearly demonstrate to Avery Berkel how the cee'd EcoDynamics SW would achieve all of its business needs, which included a significant cost saving due to Kia's excellent value for money sales proposition.'
