IFS selects Mycompanyfleet fleet management solution

By / 14 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

IFS operates in 32 countries, primarily in Europe, the US and Far East, through a series of partnerships with national leasing companies. However, in the last 24 months, IFS has evolved to become more client-facing and provide fleet management services through direct relationships with end-user fleets, including leased, rented and owned vehicles.

This change in business strategy prompted a requirement for a flexible, scalable, web-delivered fleet management solution which could be provided as ‘software as a service’ to deliver efficiencies and economies of scale to fleet clients.

Following an extensive search and selection process, IFS selected Mycompanyfleet, the automotive division of global HR solutions provider NorthgateArinso, as its strategic supplier.

IFS commercial director Maurice Bond said: 'Mycompanyfleet and its FleetAcumen platform ticked all our boxes. The system is flexible, scalable, web-delivered and offers industrial strength software with good basic functionality.

'It is the ideal platform for us to be able to manage not just client vehicles, but to administer other services including finance, insurance and fleet administration, as well as delivering cost and other efficiencies to customers.'

Mycompanyfleet business manager, Andrew Leech said the new contract made perfect business sense for both organisations. 'We are delighted to be able to offer IFS with the solutions they need to provide enhanced fleet management services directly to their international customer base.

'Delivering the solution as "software as a service" will give IFS the flexibility to meet their customer demands exactly, precisely and cost-effectively. There is no initial front end investment, no need for technical support or back-up and the whole fleet can be managed remotely without even installing fleet management software on client machines,' he said.
