English joins the corporate sales division after eight months as an account director at Return on Investment, but has previously held corporate sales roles at Audi and headed up Skoda’s fleet sales team.

He replaces Lee Wheeler, who vacated the role in January to join Santander Consumer, and will oversee the division responsible for Honda’s fleet, leasing and rental operations.

Leon Brannan, head of cars, Honda (UK), said: ‘Rob is a very welcome addition to our team and we are looking forward to him getting stuck in and taking on our fleet challenge, especially as we enter a new exciting era for our brand, both in terms of diesel engine technology and new additions to our line-up.’
