Glass's says that strengthening its dedicated Fleet and Finance division is a crucial step forward.

Managing director Andy Carroll commented: 'We have seen increasing demand for products which offer alternative solutions to those that have, until now, dominated the market.

'Peter has significant experience spearheading a host of internet-based ventures; accelerating the adoption of the Vehicle Registration Mark look-up facility and electronic data in many of the industry's consumer-facing systems. His appointment at Glass's will mean we are even better placed to deliver and support quality products and solutions for the fleet and finance industry,' added Mr Carroll.

Having worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years, Mr McCullough is highly experienced in developing innovative systems and database solutions for automotive businesses.

He joins Glass's from CAP Motor Research where, as business development director, he was responsible for product initiatives in the automotive retail, OEM and consumer sectors.

'The industry is going through a period of considerable change where innovation and deep understanding of customers' and business partners' needs are paramount to thrive,' said Mr McCullough. 'I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues at Glass's to strengthen the business's position in the fleet and finance sector.'
