The event sees Steve Moody, editor of Fleet World, tie up with Dean Coogan from premium minicab fleet Addison Lee for the two-day, 400-mile round route from Stratford-upon-Avon.

The two drivers are setting out to prove the efficiency of one of Addison Lee's 2.0-litre diesel Ford Galaxy PowerShift autos – which has an official fuel economy of 47.1mpg and emissions of 159g/km. 

The Ford Galaxy accounts for 60% of large MPVs sold in the UK, outselling its nearest competitor by six to one.
