Skoda has opened order books for its facelifted Octavia vRS and Scout.

New Octavia vRS is available in hatch and Estate bodystyles.

Priced from £25,130 OTR, the revised models bring an updated front-end design and new technologies.

The Octavia vRS is available in hatch and Estate bodystyles with a 227bhp 2.0-litre petrol or 181bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine plus manual or DSG automatic gearboxes and front or four-wheel drive. Later in the year the petrol vRS range will be joined by a vRS 245 model with 242bhp, extra equipment and an improved 0-62mph time of 6.6 seconds. Other changes include 15mm lower sports suspension while the rear track is 30mm wider.

Equipment levels include full LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, sports seats and upholstery, Performance mode selection, 8-inch touchscreen sat nav with WiFi hotspot, and a three-spoke leather multifunction steering wheel with vRS logo and paddles for DSG models.

Prices for the vRS start at £25,130 OTR for the hatch with the 227bhp petrol and rise to £29,330 for the diesel estate with DSG and four-wheel drive.

The facelifted Scout offers enhanced off-road capabilities and extra equipment. It’s solely available in four-wheel drive with a 2.0-litre diesel producing 147bhp or 181bhp.

Scout models also come equipped with a rough road package that delivers increased protection for the underside of the vehicle along with Lane assist, heated front seats and heated multifunction steering wheel.

Equipment covers Alcantara and leather Scout upholstery, eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, full LED headlamps, Scout body styling details and off-road mode.

Driver assistance systems include Trailer Assist, Blind Spot Detect and Rear Traffic Alert.

Both models also bring the latest Skoda Connect technology comprising Infotainment Online services along with real-time navigation details and the Care Connect package, which provides remote access as well as assistance. A year’s subscription to Infotainment online is available as an option on Scout and vRS models.

The Octavia Scout is priced at £26,525 OTR for the 147bhp 2.0 TDI and £29,450 for the higher-powered model with DSG.
