Visitors to Fleet Show 2017 will be the first in the UK to drive SEAT’s all-new Ibiza.

SEAT is bringing early left-hand drive versions to the show to give fleet decision-makers the chance to get behind the wheel on the famous Silverstone race circuit, and to experience the all-new model’s advanced technology, including Adaptive Cruise Control, keyless entry, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera coupled with an eight-inch touchscreen glass panel on the dashboard.

Due to arrive in showrooms from July, SEAT is expecting to broaden its fleet offering with the new Ibiza, helped by updated design, increased performance and efficiency, optimised safety systems and affordability.

It follows the brand’s fourth consecutive year of growth in true fleet; a 17% increase to 9,900 units during 2016, helped by investment in its dealer network and launch of a four-day test drive programme to better serve fleet customers. Versions of the updated Leon and acclaimed Ateca crossover – both key fleet models – will also be available to drive at the event.

Peter McDonald, head of fleet and business sales for SEAT UK, said: “SEAT’s product offensive continues apace with the introduction of the new Ibiza. Bolstering an outstanding start to the year in terms of fleet sales, we are anticipating a very positive reception from our fleet customers to the new car, as well as the new Leon and Ateca which have attracted a plethora of awards and accolades in recent months.”
