Enterprise Car Club expands in Birmingham

Enterprise Car Club is increasing the number of vehicles in its Birmingham scheme to provide businesses and residents with increased access to mobility on demand.

Enterprise Car Club hourly rental car

Enterprise Car Club will offer 15 hourly rental vehicles based in Birmingham, including three cars at the Birmingham city centre branches of parent firm Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The company, part of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, will more than double the number of hourly rental vehicles based in the city from six to 15, with vehicles stationed around the city centre.

This includes two near the Broadway property development at Fiveways, along with one at the University of Birmingham, in the designated Green Travel District between the train station and hospital. And three of the cars will be based at Birmingham city centre branches of Enterprise Rent-A-Car to provide a further mobility solution alongside traditional rental.

Keith Kelly, business development sales manager at Enterprise Car Club, said: “Accessing services like car hire where and when we need it is an increasingly important part of all our lives. Car club vehicles are fast becoming a must-have for urban dwellers, particularly in areas where parking is a challenge.

“Access to a ‘virtual car’ means business and residents no longer have to worry if they don’t have a vehicle when they need one. We see this expansion plan as an important step in delivering car club services across the city, and wherever possible, integrated with local transport hubs and services.”
