David Brown, a board member of the Institute of Car Fleet Management, has joined Applied Driving Techniques as head of business development.

David Brown joins ADT as head of business development

The role will see Brown tasked with generating new sales opportunities and managing key customer relationships as part of the company’s expansion plans both in the UK and internationally.

“David is a hugely experienced and respected industry figure whose work with the ICFM is making a valued contribution to promoting and advancing the profession of car fleet management,” said Andy Phillips, director of Applied Driving Techniques. “His appointment will support our ongoing growth strategy and help further enhance ADT’s growing reputation as a leading risk management company within the fleet sector.”

Prior to joining ADT, Brown was new business development manager at Zenith Leasedrive where he was responsible for selling vehicle finance solutions and account management primarily in the public and third sectors. Before this, he spent a number of years as key account manager at Inchcape Fleet Solutions (IFS). Brown already has experience in the fleet compliance and risk management sector having been responsible for selling ADT’s solutions in one of his previous roles.
