The technology was previously available on all Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay panel vans but is now being rolled out to the Nemo van, Berlingo First van and all other Combi and chassis variants.

Under the programme, customers can benefit from the advantages of this advanced telematics package at the subsidised price of £399 + VAT (including three years' subscription) – which compares to a normal retail price of the package, which is in excess of £1,200 + VAT.

In addition, Citroen LCV customers have the option of specifying the Fleet Director real-time fleet management programme at the recently introduced, subsidised rate of £19.99 + VAT per month.

Fleet Director utilises the Smartnav telematics platform to provide a key resource for fleet managers to better meet "Duty of Care" responsibilities, to further improve vehicle and driver productivity, and to reduce costs. In addition, Fleet Director enables head offices to have improved communications with, and exact location details for, all drivers – and to send routes or jobs directly to vehicles. In addition, Fleet Director provides exception reports and alerts, and can also "geo-fence" vehicles, identifying, for instance, if a particular van strays outside a specific area or if employees make unauthorised or excessive use of vehicles during evening or weekends.
