Activa Contracts has developed a new Rental Plus solution to provide vehicle flexibility at a competitive rate.

The Rental Plus flexible mini-lease programme has been developed to meet fleet demand for a wide range of immediate vehicle requirements.

Aimed at meeting fleet requirements including vehicles for new staff during probationary periods or contract staff, the flexible mini-lease programme enables firms to hire cars and vans for 84 days or more and return them at any time without penalty.

Activa Contracts, the Milton Keynes-based division of Arnold Clark Finance, is able to source vehicles to meet customer requirements through Rental Plus with seven days’ notice.

Sales director Lisa Temperton explained: “Rental Plus bridges the gap between traditional daily rental and leasing delivering vehicle hire flexibility at competitive rental rates without fear of any penalty. Rental Plus provides a rapid mobility facility to meet an urgent requirement.”

Temperton added: “Rental Plus could be used by employers to meet a wide range of job requirements and negates any need for employees to use their own cars on business which can prove to be an expensive alternative due to mileage reimbursement. Equally it is administratively inefficient, particularly from a duty of care viewpoint.”
