£5,000 prize up for grabs for most creative van livery

By / 7 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The company is on the lookout for a witty company name or clever artwork, which may win the prize for the van owner, while the person who submits the photograph of the winning vehicle will be rewarded with an iPad worth £500.

Gareth Jones, Northgate Vehicle Hire sales and marketing director, said: ‘We've all found ourselves laughing at inventive artwork on the side of a van. Therefore, as Britain's largest light commercial vehicle hire company we have decided to reward those organisations that have put the effort into capturing the public's attention and have used their vehicles as a marketing tool to promote their business.’

The deadline for entries is 12 December 2010. Submitted entries will be categorised into funniest, most innovative and best visual design, with the overall winning vehicle owner being presented with £5,000 in cash. The winner will be notified no later than 10 January 2011. Only photographs taken in the UK and of UK-owned vehicles will be accepted.

Anyone wishing to submit a design, should take a photo of the vehicle and email it to [email protected] or twitpic @northgateVhire. You can also visit www.northgatevehiclehire.co.uk for more information.

Submitted photographs should be accompanied by details of the sender's name, email address and telephone number, and whether they are the owner of the vehicle pictured. Additionally, if not clear from the photograph, please supply the company name or as much detail as possible about the vehicle nominated so it can be tracked down if successful.

Mr Jones said: ‘We hope that people will get into the spirit of the competition and keep their eyes open for the most creative livery on a van on the road.’
